This CHURN DASH quilt, featuring Dragonflies appliquéd on the reverse, will be raffled as a fund raiser for the Sew Fine Quilters to establish a permanent quilting facility in the Kenbridge Community Center.  Quilt measures 84” by 93”, suitable for a queen size bed.  The drawing, on MAY 23, 2009, is in conjunction with the 3rd Annual Kenbridge Wild Game, Stew, & BBQ Cook-off.  Raffle tickets, priced at $1.00 each, are available from the following:

The Sew Fine Quilters are active participants in local and regional quilt shows.  The group, founded in 2008, includes members from Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Mecklenburg counties.  They have designed and sewn juvenile and infant quilts which are purchased by area civic clubs and businesses, for donation to local law enforcement agencies.
